The Taos Box is the certerpeice of one of the US’ first Wild and Scenic Rivers, and a premier class IV whitewater rafting run. It is 17 miles of pure rafting excitement through drops with names like Ski Jump, Powerline Falls, Rock Garden, Boatreamer, and Sunset.

Our most popular half-day trip, the Pilar Racecourse, is well suited for families and first timers. Come get splashed in the fun class III rapids including Albert’s Falls, The Narrows, Sleeping Beauty, Big Rock, and Souse Hole.

For those that would prefer a more mellow trip, come traverse the relatively calm water of the Orilla Verde National Recreation Area. The open canyon allows scenic views of basalt cliffs, high desert, and riparian habitat.

The Rio Chama is America’s newest Wild And Scenic River, providing full and multi-day adventures. Peace and Beauty await you herein the land of Georgia O’Keeffe.

If you are also interested in horseback riding or rock climbing, we offer our Paddle-n-Saddle or Rock-n-Raft full-day adventures. Ride or climb in the morning, and raft the Racecourse in the afternoon.
